Introduction
It is announced for the information of the general investing public that, the Central Securities Depository Ghana Ltd. which until January 1, 2014 was solely owned by Bank of Ghana has been merged with the GSE Securities Depository Ltd. As a result of the merger, there is presently a single Securities Depository operating in the country. The new Central Securities Depository (GH) Ltd. has an ownership structure of 82% and 18% respectively by Bank of Ghana and Ghana Stock Exchange.
